-“Odeio quando minha mãe me pede para ajudá-la a fazer as coisas de casa, e ela ainda age como se fosse muito divertido”-. Diz Amanda, de cara fechada. -“Não sou uma faxineira. Se antes trabalhar como escravo não era divertido, agora é ainda menos. Essa coisa de ficar lavando louça, lavando roupa ou passando aspirador pela casa toda não é a minha praia”-.

“Eu faria minhas tarefas de casa na boa”- explica Sofia -“Se o meu irmão fizer a parte dele”. Ele nunca fica com o trabalho duro que nem eu, inclusive ninguém o interrompe quando está falando no telefone; agora comigo é bem diferente, quando repara que eu estou no telefone falando com minhas amigas, minha mãe me diz: “Até quando você vai falar, largue o telefone e arrume o seu quarto!”. Os garotos sempre serão mais privilegiados que as garotas. Pelo menos é o que eu penso. Não é justo.

“Não teria problemas em ajudar”, diz Vitória, “desde que meus pais me deixem fazer o trabalho do meu jeito. Vivemos numa casa, não em um hospital, sou a filha, não uma serva. Além disso, minha mãe fica cobrando se limpei bem o chão, sacudi o pó dos móveis e se ela não gostar tenho que fazer tudo de novo….. Se a forma como limpo não a agrada, então que ela faça a limpeza… é bem simples!”.

Todos nós alguma vez tivemos que ouvir os nossos pais nos lembrando como eles tinham que trabalhar quando eram adolescentes. “Todos tínhamos uma ou outra tarefa e se nos negássemos a fazer o que nos era pedido, não nos deixavam sair, ou não nos davam dinheiro. Sempre havia uma condição que nos obrigava a fazer as tarefas de casa. Se a gente fez, vocês também tem que fazer”./p>

Algumas pesquisas demonstram que 80% das garotas e 60% dos garotos fazem o trabalho de casa . Os pesquisadores descobriram que 90% das pessoas perdem, no mínimo, a metade dos fins de semana fazendo tarefas de casa, e ficam com a sensação de que depois da sexta à noite vem a segunda de manhã e outra vez o trabalho. A pergunta não é se seus pais esperam

É duro discutir com cada membro da família sobre as tarefas que correspondem a cada um. Se cada um colaborasse, existiria um apoio moral geral que ajudaria a cumprir as obrigações. As tarefas de casa ensinam sobre a responsabilidade e sobre o desenvolvimento de um trabalho ético e com valor.

Por isso, se concordarmos em começar a trabalhar duro, saiba como fazer com o menor esforço possível.

Peça aos seus pais que façam uma lista das coisas que há para fazer. Escolha algumas tarefas da lista fatal. Assim você poderá decidir sobre o que quer fazer.
Garanta que todos estejam de acordo com as tarefas. Seja específica. Limpar o banheiro significa desinfetar o vaso, a pia, a roupa suja, o chão e limpar o espelho?
Organize uma agenda onde você especifique quando quer que as coisas sejam feitas.
Ganhe a confiança dos seus pais. Diga a eles que a partir de agora arrumará seu quarto regularmente. Mas se algum dia não tiver tempo para fazer tudo… feche a porta para que eles não vejam a bagunça.
Estabeleça um horário para fazer as tarefas. Você não quer que lhe digam que não pode ir ao shopping porque a roupa não foi dobrada. Ou que lhe digam FAÇA AGORA!”. Se tiver que fazer alguma coisa não muito agradável, garanta no mínimo que não seja no horário das suas séries de TV favoritas, ou você se sentirá mais frustrada ainda.

61% dos adolescentes entrevistados numa enquete disseram que para que os pais lhes dêem permissão para fazer as coisas precisam ter as tarefas feitas. Se tiver outra pergunta sobre como se dar bem com sua família, pergunte a Tina.
